Elon Musk once said that This "MBA-ization of America" isn't great, especially when it comes to product innovation. MBA is due for a makeover in the emerging context of Industry 4.0 and a metaverse future. The term “Business Administration” has aged well and could be due for a facelift or a sharper definition. Is it time for a rephrasing and retitling that better suits the sophistication of the current world of work?
What’s wrong with layoffs? If a company is losing money or has a bleak future outlook, would you blame it for laying off people? Losing a match, letting go of failing businesses, and retrenchment will be impossible to prevent. But, unfortunately, just like job growth, layoffs are here to stay.
