Anurag Kashyap could have cut this movie shorter by 20 minutes. But still, I loved the narration of this one. The UP touch to the language made me smile as soon as the movie opened. Mukkabaaz evokes laughter for people who are familiar with the Northern culture. But the stand out performances was that of Zoya Hussain as the lady love who doesn’t speak. Vineet Singh carries 'Mukkabaaz' on his shoulder. This isn’t a sports drama as you would imagine but rather a love story which has boxing in it. The songs are a distraction to this otherwise engaging drama. But still, I enjoyed the movie as a whole. But PVR needs to invest in theatres, this one in Andheri has such a small screen that it felt like a large TV than a movie theatre.
